The Tivat police apprehended MM (24) from Kotor and Đ.N. (25) from Tivat on charges of usury.

“The Tivat police have detained MM (24) from Kotor and Đ.N. (25) from Tivat, suspecting them of committing the criminal offense of usury against two individuals by exploiting their vulnerable economic conditions. They provided significant loans while agreeing to disproportionate financial gains, demanding weekly and monthly interests, and making threatening remarks that instilled fear in the victims,” the statement reads.

The police also reported that MM and Đ.N. maintained records related to the loans and interest charged to the victims.

“Today, MM and Đ.N. were submitted to the prosecutor’s office along with a criminal report for further processing,” the police added.
