The Montenegrin handball team is set to host Hungary at the “Mtel Morača Hall” this Wednesday at 6 PM in a crucial match for qualifying for the EHF EURO 2026.
The “Lions” are seeking strong backing, especially after Hungary dramatically squandered a significant lead on their path to the World Cup semi-finals in January.
This clash in Podgorica holds particular significance, and fan support is vital; therefore, entry to the hall will be free of charge.
“The games in Podgorica and Tatabanja on Sunday are expected to be pivotal in the race for the top spot in the EHF Euro 2026 qualifying group, especially since both teams secured wins against Finland and Slovakia at the outset,” announced the Handball Federation.
Wednesday will also mark the debut of coach Didier Dinar in Montenegro’s largest venue, following his success with the “lions” in their victory over Finland at the “Bemax Arena.” Our handball team aims to restore the legendary invincibility of “Morača.”
