Slovak President Peter Pellegrini Embarks on Official Visit to Montenegro
Slovak President Peter Pellegrini is set to embark on an official visit to Montenegro on May 30, following an invitation from President Jakov Milatović.
Pellegrini will receive a warm welcome at the Residence in Cetinje, honored with the highest state and military accolades, before engaging in discussions with the Montenegrin leader.
Following the signing of the guest book and the introduction of both delegations, the two presidents will hold public statements and plant a tree symbolizing friendship in the Residence courtyard in Cetinje.
Additionally, Milatović and Pellegrini will inaugurate a business forum that will host Montenegrin and Slovak entrepreneurs.
In a ceremony attended by Milatović, the leaders will lay a wreath at the Monument to the Partisan Fighter on Gorica Hill in Podgorica, after which the President of Montenegro will hold a gala lunch in honor of his Slovak counterpart.
“The forthcoming official visit of the President of Slovakia greatly encourages the enhancement of bilateral relations and signals the continuation of President Milatović’s vigorous diplomatic efforts towards Montenegro’s full EU membership by 2028,” remarked the Montenegrin President’s office.
