Police in Ulcinj have apprehended EL (31) from Albania on charges related to a “serious offense against public security in connection with causing public danger,” the Police Directorate (UP) reported today.

The UP further stated that EL is suspected of committing this offense in connection with the tragic incident involving a person who died while working at a construction site in Ulcinj, where they were employed as an auxiliary worker.

“He has been detained under the prosecutor’s order and will be presented to the prosecutor’s office for further legal action along with a criminal complaint,” the UP statement indicated.

Yesterday, local resident EK (20) succumbed to injuries sustained at a construction site.

A source from “Vijesti” disclosed that the prosecution has ordered an autopsy.
