Tatjana Brnović Joins ĆSM Bucharest

Following stints in Montenegro, France, and Slovenia, it’s now time for new challenges in Romania. Tatjana Brnović will be joining the top club in the country, a team gearing up for the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

The Montenegrin handball player and 2016 European champion has announced her transfer to ĆSM Bucharest via the club’s website.

Recognized as the top pivot from the last European Championship and a former player of Buducnost, she is moving to the Romanian capital from Crimea.

“I am thrilled to be part of ĆSM Bucharest. I look forward to embracing this new challenge, collaborating with the team, and striving to achieve our goals and aspirations,” Tatjana shared on the club’s website.

Next season, the colors of ĆSM will be represented by two Montenegrin captains, as Tatjana joins Đurđina Jauković in Bucharest.

Just days before this announcement, the Romanian club secured another signing with Merer Freriks, a 2019 world champion from the Netherlands, arriving from Esbjerg.

Next year, ĆSM will bid farewell to Buducnost legend Kristina Neagu, who is retiring, but they have already bolstered their roster with new players, including Ane Mette Hansen and Kristina Novak.

Tatjana Brnović’s new team is currently leading the Romanian championship and is preparing to face their city rivals, Rapid, in the Champions League playoffs.
