The Seismology Sector of the Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology recorded a significant earthquake at 18:43:27 p.m., with its epicenter located 10 kilometers northeast of Zadar, Croatia.
The earthquake registered an intensity of 5.3 on the Richter scale at the focal point.
Preliminary data indicates that the epicenter was situated at a depth of one kilometer.
The Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology’s seismology sector has reported that the earthquake may have led to some material damage in the area surrounding the epicenter.
