Kristina Božović Heads to Finland
Montenegrin volleyball player Kristina Božović is taking her talents to Finland, where she will represent the super league team LP-Vampula in the upcoming season. This marks her first international stint, as noted by Odbojka.me.
LP-Vampula concluded the last season in sixth position in the Finnish Super League, and Kristina is expected to make a meaningful impact in the correction position.
“Moving to Finland is a significant milestone in my career, marking my first international transfer. I anticipate that this experience will allow me to grow as both a player and an individual, enabling me to learn a new approach to the sport and contribute to the team in the best way possible. I am prepared for the challenges ahead and confident that this opportunity will pave the way for my further development and greater athletic achievements,” Kristina stated. She began her journey at the Academy, played for Luka Bar, and spent last season with Budućnost Volley.
Kristina made her senior national team debut in the CEV Golden League representing Montenegro, and this summer she will be focusing on the qualification campaign for the 2026 European Championship.
