Heightened Vehicle Activity Throughout the Day

Traffic across most of Montenegro is at a moderate level, with an increase in vehicle presence during daylight hours, according to the Automobile and Motorcycle Association (AMSCG). They recommend that drivers take more frequent breaks on longer trips.
The AMSCG also cautions that extra care should be taken in areas undergoing construction.
On the regional road from Đurđevića Tara to Mojkovac, traffic is halted for all vehicles in Sokolovina due to a rockfall related to the rehabilitation of this critical section.
Reconstruction work on the regional road R-29 Bar – Kamenički most Krute will lead to traffic closures from 11 AM to 1 PM and again from 4 PM to 6 PM.
On the M-2 main road, traffic is moving in alternating single lanes between Ribarevina – Poda and Poda – Berane.
The M-3 Plužine – Jasenovo Polje main road is experiencing alternating one-lane traffic control due to work on the Zaborje – Jasenovo Polje section, where traffic lights are regulating flow.
Changes have been made to traffic on the regional road R-19, section Trešnjevik – Andrijevica, shifting from two-way to one-way at work sites.
The AMSCG has announced that traffic on Vojisavljevića Street in Podgorica is suspended due to boulevard construction, with vehicles redirected to alternative routes.
On the M-6 main road between Pljevlja and Đurđevića Tara, the traffic pattern has shifted from two-way to one-way at various work sites.
On the M-6 highway, traffic will temporarily switch from two-way to one-way on the Šavnik – Žabljak section from 5 PM to 7 PM due to the rehabilitation of the Provalija landslide.
Similarly, the M-3 main road on the Šćepan Polje – Danilovgrad section has altered its traffic flow to alternating due to asphalting work.
On the regional road R-23, the Bogetići – Glava Zete section will have alternating one-lane traffic as a result of asphalting activities.
Traffic has transitioned from two-way to one-way flow on the M-7 Nikšić-Ilino Brdo main road, specifically in the Nikšić-Kuside section, due to the installation of expansion joints on the bridges.
The AMSCG also indicated that traffic will be temporarily modified to alternating flow for the reconstruction of access roads to the Đurđevića Tara bridge.
