A traffic accident this morning at around 9 am on the main road in Sutorina resulted in one fatality.

According to the Novski portal, the accident involved a collision during overtaking between a passenger vehicle, a “Peugeot” from Herceg Novi driven by SC (1964), and a freight vehicle, an “Iveco”, operated by MG (1960) from Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with a trailer-tanker bearing Croatian license plates.

The driver SC was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, a minor child was present in the vehicle and was rescued unharmed by the Protection and Rescue Service.

Traffic temporarily remains disrupted as the on-duty prosecutor from the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Herceg Novi conducts an investigation.
