Nearly €420,000 Allocated for Firefighters

The Tivat Municipality has issued a tender for the procurement of a new specialized firefighting vehicle for the Tivat Protection and Rescue Service, with an estimated value of €350,000 including VAT.

According to the tender details, a technical fire truck weighing seven tons is requested; it must feature four-wheel drive and possess a 180 horsepower engine. Additionally, the vehicle needs a water tank with a capacity of 1,700 liters, a fire pump capable of 1,500 liters per minute, a hydraulic winch, and other specialized tools for technical interventions.

Bids for the tender must be submitted by June 30th, at which point they will be opened. The selected contractor will be granted 14 months from the contract signing date to construct and deliver the specified vehicle to the Tivat firefighters.

Moreover, the Tivat Municipality has also announced a tender for various technical equipment for its Protection and Rescue Service, estimated at €64,000 including VAT. The procurement includes multifunctional camera search devices, wireless sensors, and other equipment for locating survivors in rubble, a thermal camera, Wi-Fi video surveillance cameras with recording capabilities, which will be installed on premises and in Tivat Rescue Service vehicles, along with one portable motor and two submersible water pumps. The delivery timeline varies based on the procurement item, ranging from 15 to 95 days following the contract signing with the selected bidder.
