Primorac Secures Easy Victory Over Budva, While Kataro Suffers Another Defeat
Primorac faced no challenges in the second Montenegrin derby of the regional A1 league tournament.
The players from Kotor triumphed over Budva with a decisive score of 17:3 in their pool, marking their second victory following a successful match against Kataro, which they won comfortably, 15:9.
Budva managed to stay competitive only during the first quarter before Primorac launched a 5:0 streak, establishing an 8:2 lead by the second period.
The gap continued to widen, with Budva netting their final goal at the close of the third quarter.
Primorac showcased a balanced offense with 10 different players contributing to the score, including Đorđe Pejović, Stefan Kovačević, and Tadija Matijašević against Budva.
Kataro faced a second consecutive defeat, this time at the hands of the Slovenian national team, who secured a 15:12 win.
Primorac is set to conclude the tournament on Sunday at 10:10 a.m. with a match against Slovenia.
