This evening, students, pedestrians, and cyclists from Novi Sad received a warm welcome upon returning from a significant protest in Kragujevac, gathering on the campus of the University of Novi Sad in front of the Faculty of Economics.
Colleagues and community members greeted them with applause and embraces.
While walking to Kragujevac, the Novi Sad students chanted, “Throw back the hill so we can climb it!”
They also shared their plans to participate in a major protest in Niš, which is scheduled for March 1st by local students.
“Come on, come on, everyone for Niš!” they sang.
Novi Sad students trekked for several days to take part in the large Sretenje protest held in Kragujevac on Saturday.
Alongside pedestrians, a group of cycling students also made the journey to Kragujevac.
