With this cemetery, we aim to address Podgorica’s needs for the next 50 years. The work pace is highly satisfactory, and by July 1st, all chapels will be operational. The surrounding area, which includes office spaces, a flower shop, and other facilities, has also been completed,” Mujović stated, mentioning that efforts to advance this project continue.
The Capital City of Podgorica indicated that the new cemetery spans 12.9 hectares, including plans for 18,412 graves with 39,369 burial spots, along with 219 parking spaces.
