Vranes at the Just Transition Council

Following a decision by the Government of Montenegro, Dario Vraneš, the Mayor of Pljevlja, has been appointed to the Just Transition Council.

According to the same decision, Admir Šahmanović, the Minister of Energy and Mining, will chair the Council. Other members include Maida Gorčević, Minister of European Affairs; Naida Nišić, Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Dialogue; Damjan Ćulafić, Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development, and Development of the North; Majda Adžović, Minister of Public Works; Nemanja Laković, Executive Director of the Coal Mine; and Ivan Bulatović, Director of the Electric Power Company,” stated the Office of the Mayor of Pljevlja, Dario Vraneš.

The Government approved the formation of the Just Transition Council on June 12th, with the Ministry of Energy overseeing its establishment.
