Montenegrin Handball Team Secures Seventh Place in Tunisia

The Montenegrin men’s cadet handball team secured seventh place in the Mediterranean Championship for players under 17, held in Tunisia.

In the match determined for final placement, the team, comprised of players born in 2008 and 2009 and coached by Miloš Vulićević and Vuk Kaluđerović, triumphed over Romania with a score of 27:25, culminating in a crucial penalty throw.

Ognjen Pejaković emerged as the top scorer with six goals, while Nemanja Batuta contributed five.

Both Luka Kaluđerović and Miloš Tujković notched four goals each.

Throughout the tournament featuring 11 national teams, Montenegro achieved three victories against Tunisia, Italy, and Romania, while facing four losses to Kuwait, Greece, Croatia, and Serbia.
