Dončić Guides Lakers to Another Victory Against the Clippers

The Los Angeles Lakers secured a 108:102 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers, marking their second win in the last three days in NBA matchups.
Luka Dončić shone for the Lakers, scoring 29 points along with nine assists, six rebounds, and two steals. Dalton Knett contributed 19 points, while LeBron James added 17 points with nine assists and five rebounds. Dorian Finney-Smith chipped in with 11 points, and notably, James has crossed the milestone of 50,000 points across regular season and playoff games.
The Lakers managed to clinch their sixth straight win despite the absence of injured players Austin Reeves and Rui Hachimura, achieving 16 victories in their last 19 games.
Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers with 33 points and ten rebounds, supported by Chris Dunn with 15 points, James Harden with 13 points and eight assists, and Ivica Zubac with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Serbian player Bogdan Bogdanović contributed 12 points, four rebounds, and three assists.
Minnesota claimed a 116-98 victory over Phoenix, marking their third win in nine games. Anthony Edwards stood out with 44 points, seven assists, and five rebounds. Donte DiVincenzo added 24 points and five steals, while Julius Randle contributed 20 points and six rebounds in his first game back after a prolonged injury absence.
Phoenix faced their 11th loss in 14 games, with Kevin Durant leading the team with 26 points, ten rebounds, and four assists. Bradley Beal had 18 points, while Devin Booker scored 17.
The Oklahoma City Thunder triumphed over San Antonio 146-132, marking their third consecutive victory. Jaylen Williams scored a career-high 41 points, along with seven assists and six rebounds for the Thunder. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander notched 31 points, eight assists, and four rebounds, while Cason Wallace and Andrew Wiggins added 19 and 17 points respectively.
Oklahoma City now holds the second-best record in the league, with 49 wins and 11 losses, just behind Cleveland, which tops the chart with 50 wins and 10 losses.
Stephon Castle led San Antonio with 32 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Dearon Fox contributed 20 points, while Jeremy Sohan and Devin Vassell added 17 and 15 points respectively.
The New York Knicks edged out Miami 116-112 in overtime, claiming their third straight victory. Jaylen Brunson was the leading scorer for the Knicks with 31 points, six rebounds, and five assists. OG Anunoby added 23 points, nine rebounds, and five assists, while Karl-Anthony Towns delivered 19 points and 16 rebounds.
For Miami, Bam Adebayo led with 30 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Tyler Herro added 22 points and seven assists, and Kelel Ware contributed 12 points, eight rebounds, and six blocks.
In other matchups, Toronto secured a 104:102 win over Orlando, while New Orleans triumphed over Utah 128:121. Indiana defeated Chicago 127:112, in a game where Chicago was without Nikola Vučević, and Cleveland edged out Portland 133:129 after overtime.
