The Budva Municipality building is illuminated in red this evening in celebration of Independence Day.

Nikola Milović, the leader of the Democratic Party of Socialists from the recent local elections in Budva, shared images on the social media platform X to congratulate the citizens of Budva on this special occasion.

“Dear fellow citizens, with the aim of advancing Budva as a modern, European, and civic tourism capital, I wish you a joyous May 21st – Independence Day. May Montenegro endure forever!” Milović expressed.

It’s worth noting that the DPS provided the necessary project support in the local parliament, facilitating the formation of a government in this tourism hub.

Unlike in previous years, Independence Day is now being celebrated in Budva.

The flags of Montenegro, the EU, and the Budva Municipality have also been displayed at nearby roundabouts.
