The third round, featuring the second match at “home” in Trebinje, presents a fresh chance for the first victory in the Champions League.
Jadran’s water polo team from Herceg Novi is set to compete tonight (Wednesday, 19:00) against Crvena zvezda.
“I expect a high-quality match against Crvena zvezda; they are a formidable team with outstanding players,” stated Jadran coach Petar Radanović in an interview with Herceg.tv.
Similar to Jadran, Zvezda is also coming off two defeats at the beginning of the tournament, but Jadran appeared significantly stronger against their rivals from Split and Ferencvaros.
“They have a star player alongside a solid central pair (Miloš Vukićević and Lukaš Seman). If we can shut them down and minimize dismissals and penalties, I believe we can achieve victory,” Radanović added.
Group C, today
