Jadran’s water polo team faced its first defeat in the regional Premier League this season.
After securing four consecutive victories, the team from Nikšić lost to the favorites, Jadran from Split, with a final score of 15:14 on home turf.
The Split squad remains the only team in the elite league with a perfect record, boasting five wins out of five games.

Heading into the final period, the Split team held a seven-goal cushion (15:8), but the Montenegrin champions closed the gap with a 6:0 scoring run by the end of the match, although time was not on their side for a significant comeback.
Danilo Radović was the standout performer, scoring five goals. Teammates Dmitrij Holod, Lazar Vukićević, and Martin Gardašević each contributed two goals, while Bojan Banićević, Strahinja Gojković, and Matej Čaraj added one each.
