A resident of Podgorica, Igor Nedović, sustained injuries in a bar located in the Siti Kvart neighborhood, as reported by “Vijesti” from various sources.

The authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

Nedović has associations with the Kavača criminal group.

The Police Directorate has shared that the Podgorica Security Department received notification today at 1:30 PM via the Duty Service regarding the use of a firearm against an individual in a bar in the City Quarter.

“It is believed that an unidentified person entered the establishment and discharged three rounds from a weapon towards him, resulting in injuries to his stomach area,” the police stated.

Currently, Nedović is receiving medical treatment at the Emergency Center of the Clinical Center.

“Police officials have briefed the state prosecutor regarding the incident. A specific area has been cordoned off, and immediate investigative procedures are in place to examine all aspects of the event. Resources from the Crime Prevention Sector and the Special Police Unit are also being utilized by officers of the Podgorica Security Department,” the announcement said.

They assured that updates about the situation and subsequent actions will be provided to the public in a timely and organized manner.
