Following Korčula, Dubrovnik hosted the “Olympic Hopes” tournament, and after the Budva cadets celebrated their victory two weeks ago, this time, all three top spots in the younger junior category were secured by Montenegrin clubs…
In the category for players born in 2008 and later, Jadran from Herceg Novi took first place, Budva claimed second, and Primorac finished third.
Among other clubs, Budućnost placed fifth, Jadran Herceg Novi 2 took seventh, and Aquatic Verde ended up in eighth.

Jadran triumphed with a 12:5 victory in the final match against Budva, with Luka Todorović leading the scoring for the winners with four goals, and Dario Domazetović contributing three. On Budva’s side, both Pavle Dabić and Jovan Radić scored twice.
During the group stage, Jadran outperformed Gusar 19:2, Primorka 10:6, Jadran from Neum 30:6, and Jadran from Split 14:6, while Budva topped group A.

The Water Polo and Swimming Federation of Montenegro stated that prior to the younger junior tournament, a cadet competition took place where the Budva water polo team was victorious.
The VPSCG recalled that “Olympic Hopes” is a tournament organized by clubs from Montenegro and the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, aimed at improving the quality of water polo and fostering connections among participants.”
