In the “Vučje” Management Unit of the Kolašin Regional Unit, officials from the Forest and Hunting Management Administration, with assistance from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the NGO “Natura,” have installed five information boards. Two of these boards were placed directly along the main Kolašin-Podgorica road, while the remaining three are located in the forest.
These activities were successfully carried out as part of the Post-Fire Vegetation Restoration Project (PFVR), as stated by the Forestry Administration.
Out of the five information boards installed under the PFVR in the “Vučje” Management Unit, PJ Kolašin, two pertain to the project itself, two are focused on educating the public about fire risks, and one displays a map indicating the Management Unit with a section dedicated to the project area, according to the statement.
The Forestry Administration indicated that it will continue its fruitful collaboration with JICA and the NGO “Natura” from Kolašin in the near future, aiming to carry out joint initiatives to enhance forest ecosystems.
