Montenegro: A Fusion of Slovenians, French, and Swiss Cultures
The Montenegrin men’s handball team has been assigned a favorable group for the European Championship.
In Group D, our national team will compete against Slovenia, the Faroe Islands, and Switzerland, as revealed by the draw.
The group matches will take place in Berum, Norway, with the top two teams advancing to the main stage.
The “Lions” are set to participate in their eighth Euro next year, running from January 15 to February 1, hosted by Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. This will be their seventh consecutive appearance, and they will aim to progress past the group stage for only the second time. A spot in the main round appears to be within reach…
Montenegro’s opening match in the European Championship will be against Slovenia on January 16th. This will be followed by a game against the Faroe Islands two days later, and they will conclude the group stage with a match against Switzerland on January 20th.
