Detention of up to 72 hours for a Georgian citizen suspected of stealing a thousand euros

Georgian Citizen Detained for Up to 72 Hours on Suspicion of Theft of €1,000

Following a session at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, a Georgian national identified as ST has been placed in custody for a period of up to 72 hours on grounds of reasonable suspicion of committing theft.

The Podgorica Public Prosecutor’s Office reported that “the suspect unlawfully removed €1,000 from an unattended vehicle belonging to the affected police station.”
