Today, Njegošev Park in Podgorica came alive with imagination and play as numerous children participated in the “Dracula Day” event. This program was a collaborative effort involving the Embassy of Romania in Montenegro, the City Capital’s Secretariat for Culture, the Honorary Consulate of Romania, the NGO “Association for Economic and Cultural Cooperation of Romania and Montenegro,” and the children’s innovation hub BIP TECH.

The Secretariat for Culture of the Capital City shared this announcement.

The event commenced with remarks from Romanian Ambassador Viorel Ardeleanu and Snežana Tomanović, the Secretary of Culture, who welcomed everyone and highlighted the significance of cultural collaboration between Romania and Montenegro.

Set against a magical backdrop inspired by Dracula’s legend, children enjoyed themselves in themed costumes, some dressed in black. The experience was enhanced with props like Dracula’s teeth, cloaks, stickers, and badges. “Dracula Day” unfolded in a lively and playful atmosphere, filled with laughter, curiosity, and interaction. This illustrated the importance of engaging content that promotes creativity, learning through play, and cultural exchange, all while fostering friendship and collaboration between nations through shared values,” the Secretariat’s statement elaborated.
