Milatović Nominates Mirjana Vučinić for Constitutional Court Judge

The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, has proposed to the Parliament the election of Mirjana Vučinić as a judge of the Constitutional Court.

“Following a review of qualifications and interview outcomes, President Milatović has chosen to nominate Mirjana Vučinić, an esteemed lawyer, to the Montenegrin Parliament for the position of judge at the Constitutional Court.”

“Mirjana Vučinić’s professional background reveals her impressive credentials, built through her tenure in various state institutions and her extensive experience in legal practice. During her discussion with President Milatović, Vučinić displayed exceptional motivation and analytical abilities,” states the press release from the Public Relations Office of the President of Montenegro.

Milatović believes that, upon her election to the Constitutional Court, Vučinić will fulfill her responsibilities with professionalism, diligence, and integrity, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of the Court’s operations.

As per the announcement from the Presidential Public Relations Office, Mirjana Vučinić completed her law degree at the University of Montenegro in 1989, achieving an impressive average of 8.44.

She has accumulated significant legal expertise within the Constitutional Court, the Health Fund, the Real Estate Administration, and the Republic Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, and has been engaged in legal practice since 2006.

Throughout her distinguished legal career, Vučinić has not only managed her regular duties but has also contributed to several large-scale international and domestic projects.

She successfully passed the bar exam in 1995.

Mirjana Vučinić’s credentials further illustrate her strong professional background, developed over years of service in various governmental roles, in addition to her extensive legal practice. During her meeting with President Milatović, she showcased a commendable level of drive and analytical prowess.
