We’ll Play Without Counting

On Saturday at 17:45, water polo players from Primorje will host Ortiđa in the final group stage match of the Eurocup.

In their initial encounter in Sicily, the players from Kotor secured a 14:9 victory and are on the verge of advancing to the next round. They can afford to lose by a margin of up to four goals in this upcoming match.

“We are considered slight favorites. Nevertheless, Ortiđa is a formidable team, and it won’t be an easy match, as both teams aim to secure a spot in the next round. We’re going in without any reservations; our goal is to win,” noted Primorje goalkeeper Aleksandro Kralj.

Currently, Primorac holds nine points after five rounds, trailing the leader Panionios by two points and leading Ortiđa by three points.

For Zoran Maslovar’s team to finish in first place, they need a victory against Panionios in Trieste along with a win in this match.
