The Final Chapter for Jusuf: Jahja Nurković Competes Today at the “Laslo Pap Arena”
Montenegrin judoka Jusuf Nurković was knocked out early in the World Championships held in Budapest.
The competitor from Ibar in Rožaje was defeated in the opening round of the 66 kg category by Bulgaria’s Bojan Jotov.
Today, Jahja Nurković is set to compete after receiving a bye in the 73 kg category due to the draw.
His opponent in the second round will be determined from the match between Brazilian Daniel Karginin and German Igor Vantke.
The Senior World Championships have attracted 556 athletes from 93 nations at the “Laszlo Pap Arena”.
The Nurković brothers are the sole representatives of Montenegro at this championship.
