Promising Prospects on the Field, Challenges in Administration

Despite Buducnost’s strong performance in the domestic championship this season, securing its seventh title and making significant transfers, there seems to be a troubling issue within our premier football club.

The management has made an oversight; Buducnost is yet to receive a license for European competitions from FSCG, putting it under UEFA’s scrutiny.

In fact, Buducnost is among 13 clubs that UEFA has investigated during the 2024/2025 season as part of the European Football Association’s Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) proceedings.

Due to unpaid obligations to other clubs, employees, or tax authorities, the CFCB has concluded its review and imposed a fine of 10,000 euros on Buducnost..

This process is distinct from licensing for European competitions; it operates separately.

Alongside Buducnost, other clubs such as Lyon ($200,000 fine), Trabzonspor (with our own Stefan Savić facing a $100,000 fine), and teams like Astana, Dinamo Batumi, Shakhtar Donetsk, Kosovo Balkans, and Wisla Krakow have also faced penalties.

Furthermore, Astana, Dinamo Tbilisi, and Dinamo Batumi have received warnings that any repeated breaches in the next financial audit could lead to their disqualification from UEFA competitions.
