Jadran Faces Đurđić’s Savona in Eurocup Round of 16

The Montenegrin champions are set to continue their European journey in Liguria, as the Adriatic water polo players face off against the Italian team Savona in the Eurocup round of 16.
The first match is slated to take place in the Gulf of Genoa on March 8, with the second leg following on March 23.
Petr Radanović’s team, which finished fourth in the Champions League as per the draw conducted in Barcelona today, had Savona among the potential opponents, along with Barcelona, Primorje, and Panionios.
Savona ended their group stage without a single loss, competing against two Hungarian teams, Vašaš and Honved, along with Greek representative Apollon. Their only slip came against Vaša (18:17) in an away game.
The Liguria club’s roster includes our own Bogdan Đurđić, complemented by strong players such as Pjetr Filjoli, Balaž Erdelji, Valerij Ric, and goalkeeper Djanmark Nicozija…
Jadran secured fourth place in the Champions League, competing in a challenging group with Ferencvaros, Jadran from Split, and Crvena Zvezda.
In the Eurocup group stage, Primorac finished ahead of Panionios and Ortiđa.
