Slovenia Tops Norway to Claim Group Victory; Denmark Dominates Portugal

The Slovenian handball team triumphed over Norway this evening with a score of 28:27, securing first place in Group D at the European Championship.
The halftime score was tied at 17:17, and the second half remained competitive before Slovenia closed out the match with a win.
Aleks Vlah led Slovenia’s scoring with seven goals, while Blaž Blagotinšek added five. For Norway, Sander Sagosen emerged as the top scorer with six goals.
Slovenia’s goalkeeper Urban Lesjak was the standout performer of the match, making nine pivotal saves, and was named the best player.
Norway advances in the competition as the runner-up in the group.
Denmark topped Group F after defeating Portugal decisively, 37:27. Gidsel starred for Denmark with 11 goals, and Hansen contributed five.
For Portugal, Martim Costa was notable with nine goals.
Sweden edged out the Netherlands with a close 29:28 victory. Hampus Vane and Felix Klar each netted five goals, while Luke Staines led the Dutch team with six goals.
