A 39-year-old man, NM, from Podgorica, has been fined €1,500 for insulting a police officer in Ulcinj.

According to the announcement from the Budva Minor Offences Court, Judge Anka Rašović handed down the penalty after it was established that NM had disrespected the officer, identified as SK, early on Sunday morning in the Štoj area.

The report indicates that NM insulted officer SK while the officer was attempting to present his identification.

“NM from Podgorica has been found guilty of violating the Law on Public Order and Peace and is fined €1,500,” the statement confirmed.
