A 47-year-old man from Zeta, referred to as DK, was apprehended after authorities reportedly discovered cocaine in his possession.

The Police Directorate informed that officers from the Podgorica police were involved in this operation.

“Members of the Regional Security Center ‘Centar’ – Podgorica Security Department, during a series of planned activities aimed at thwarting the distribution of narcotics and identifying individuals involved in street-level sales, have apprehended a person from Zeta who was found with cocaine,” stated the Police Directorate (PD).

The announcement further detailed that police officers searched DK’s residence and other locations associated with him, uncovering two PVC packages that contained a total of 20 individual PVC packages filled with a white powdery substance resembling cocaine, weighing over 13 grams in total, along with one PVC package showing traces of a similar substance, two PVC bags, and metal scissors.

“The state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica has been informed about the case, under whose directive DK was detained along with a criminal complaint on suspicion of committing the offense of unauthorized production, possession, and distribution of narcotic drugs,” the UP statement mentioned.
