Vjekoslav Pasković: Head Coach of Primorje
Former water polo player Vjekoslav Pasković has been appointed as the new coach of Primorje, as announced by the club based in Kotor.
Pasković takes over from Zoran Maslovar.
“I would like to express my gratitude to the president of Primorje, Siniša Kovačević, for the unexpected offer and for the delightful challenge he presented to me about ten days ago. I am very familiar with how the club operates, and it’s commendable that after 13 years, it is now financially stable with all necessary conditions met for both senior and youth teams. It’s remarkable that the club has managed to function this well over such a long period. I wanted to take my time to make this decision as my emotions were mixed, but it’s a privilege to be part of a sports team again where I experienced some of the best moments of my career,” said Pasković, as reported by the club.
Pasković emphasized that he aims to leverage his extensive experience and knowledge to help the team achieve its objectives.
“The player who was instrumental when Primorac won the Champions League; without him, the national team did not secure a single medal. I am confident that he will seize this opportunity to instill a winning mindset in the team, as well as rejuvenate the squad, which has shown it can compete alongside European teams,” stated Primorje’s president, Siniša Kovačević.
