Yesterday, at around 19:00 in Majina Gora near Bijelo Polje, a traffic accident occurred on the regional road Slijepac most-Pljevlja. Aldin Karović (27), the driver of a BMW from Pljevlja, sustained serious injuries, while Marko Krunić, the driver of a Mercedes truck, and passenger Dragana Krunić incurred minor injuries.

The driver of a third vehicle, a “VW” NM, involved in the incident, emerged uninjured.

According to reports from the Bijelo Polje Hospital, Karović has fractures to his left femur, thigh, and foot. Dragana Krunić suffered injuries to her neck and head, while Marko Krunić had superficial wounds to his abdomen, side, and pelvis.

As per the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office, the incident unfolded when Aldin Karović was driving from Pljevlja towards Slijepac Most. Upon reaching Majina Gora, he lost control of his vehicle and collided with Marko Krunić’s Mercedes truck traveling in the opposite direction. This led to Krunić losing control, veering off the road, and crashing into a stationary “VW” NM.

The on-site investigation was conducted by the on-duty prosecutor, accompanied by a traffic expert and authorized police officers from the Bijelo Polje Police Department.
