Al Kuwait, under the guidance of Montenegrin coach Nebojša Jovović, is contending for a historic quadruple crown in Kuwait!

They’ve already secured the Super Cup, are at the top of the league standings with three matches remaining, and just qualified for the Prince’s Cup final, staging a remarkable comeback from a 0:2 deficit to win 4:2 against Kazma.

Kazma is where Jovović kicked off his “Gulf” journey 13 years ago as part of Miodrag Radulović’s coaching team. Since then, he has made stops in eight different countries across the Arab world, securing six trophies along the way…

Additionally, they are competing in the Emir Cup, akin to the English League Cup, where they’ve reached the quarterfinal stage.

This season’s trophy tally could potentially hit nine, but to claim the two major titles, Jovović will need to face off against his biggest challenger, Al Arabi.

Al Arabi sits second in the standings, just two points behind, and will also compete against Kuwait in the Prince’s Cup final.

There was a possibility that Kacija Željko Petrović, another Montenegrin coach in Kuwait (similar to last year’s Super Cup final), might be involved, but Arabi triumphed 1:0 in a tense semi-final, leaving Kacija without any backup in the last 20 minutes.
