With a total of 85 points scored by his team, Ognjen Jokić, a promising young basketball player from Bijelo Polje, accounted for more than half of the points for Jedinstvo 1950 in their local derby against Jedinstvo 1.

Despite an impressive performance, his team lost the match in the Northern Region Junior League with a final score of 106:85.

“I’m thrilled about my performance and the 52 points, but I would have been even happier if we had secured the win. Nonetheless, it definitely boosts my confidence,” Jokić remarked.

The gifted 17-year-old plays as a fullback and had the chance to make his senior team debut for Jedinstvo last season.

“I scored my initial points in the senior league, and I aim to perform well to earn another opportunity to play for the first team,” Jokić stated.

This talented player underscored the critical role that coaches Goran Rika Vojinović and Velibor Pirto Korać have played in his basketball development.
