The basketball team from Podgorica, Bemaxa, faced a loss against Zlatibor with a score of 90:82 during the fifth round of the Top 8 phase in the NLB ABA2 league held in Čajetina.

This defeat marked the fourth for the Podgorica squad, eliminating their chances of advancing to the semifinals.

Zlatibor continued its impressive performance and secured a spot in the semifinals from Group E, accompanied by Bosnia, who finished with a 3-2 record.

Consequently, in the final round, a match between Helios and Podgorica will take place with no bearing on the overall results.

Leading the scoring for the Podgorica team were Balša Živanović with 14 points and Pavle Đurišić with 13. Nikola Žižić and Anthony Smith each contributed 11 points, while Marko Radunović also reached double figures with 10.

On the winning side, Marko Kovačević stood out as the top scorer, recording 22 points.
