“Demonstrating Our Commitment: Preparing for Challenges on the European Stage”
Buducnost clinched their seventh Montenegrin championship title in style, accomplishing this feat with five matches left to play. They dominated Bokelj SBBet with a 4:0 victory, and even if they had lost in Kotor, celebration was assured as Petrovac had only managed to secure a single point prior to that.
The “Blues” displayed their seriousness and achieved their 23rd win of the season in the historic city.
“Throughout the season, we have proven that we are a serious team preparing for European challenges. We have truly earned the title with five matches remaining, and I extend my congratulations to the players. They are the real stars, but I must also commend the coaching staff, everyone at the club, and our fans. We have had a successful season, even though we faced elimination from the Cup,” stated coach Ivan Brnović in an interview with RTCG.
Buducnost celebrated with goals from Ivan Bulatović (two) and Lazar Mijović and Lazar Savović.
“We were clearly motivated after the draw with Petrovac, which solidified our title. We awaited news from Berane and briefly celebrated before the match began. However, I have repeatedly said that this team does not settle for draws; they always strive for more goals. This has been evident throughout the season, as we even performed well in a match that had less at stake. It demonstrates our character,” Brnović emphasized.
