Buducnost Bemaks aims to deliver a strong performance against Savehof, hoping to replicate their earlier success against Đera, stated Bojana Popović, the head coach of the “blue” team.
The team from Podgorica will visit Swedish Savehof tomorrow for the 12th round of Group A in the Champions League.
Savehof is the only team in the group yet to secure any points in the competition.
Buducnost recorded its sole victory of the season against tomorrow’s opponents, edging them 31:30, but has since faced nine defeats and one draw.
Popović noted that the young players of Savehof have improved significantly through their national league and recent Champions League games.
“They have a group that has been together for a while. They train well, play at a fast pace, and are certainly in better shape compared to the last time we faced them. This was evident in their recent match against Bittingheim, where they maintained a lead until the end,” Popović remarked.
She emphasized the importance of solid defense and smooth attack coordination for a successful outcome against Savehof.
“We will do our utmost, and I hope that all players will be healthy, as the team has been battling a viral issue recently. It will be challenging; I anticipate a close game. The girls must replicate the performance they showed against Djero, and the rest will take care of itself,” Popović concluded.
The match between the Montenegrin and Swedish teams is set for tomorrow at 20:45.
