Prison police supervisor at UIKS suspected of hitting convict in the head and body

Prison Police Supervisor at UIKS Accused of Assaulting Inmate

A senior prison police supervisor from the Administration for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions (UIKS), identified as G.Đ. from Danilovgrad, is under suspicion for assaulting convict TE by striking him in the head and body.

The Basic State Prosecutor’s Office (ODT) in Podgorica has reported that an indictment against G.Đ. has been filed for the offense of abuse at the Basic Court in Danilovgrad.

“During the official procedure of escorting the convicted individual TE back from the walking area to the prison, the defendant struck him multiple times with an open fist to the head and body, while the injured party did not resist at any point during the incident,” stated the ODT in Podgorica.
