“Petrovac Triumphs Over Sutjeska; Dečić and Jedinstvo Claim Victories, Berane Ends in Draw”
Buducnost players will have to delay their title celebrations until at least the next round – the “blues” triumphed over Arsenal (5:0) in Podgorica tonight, but Petrovac’s victory against Sutjeska (1:0) means the crowning of the new champion is postponed.
Tonight marked Buducnost’s final match of the season at Gorica, as the grass surface will be replaced starting Tuesday and won’t be ready until June. The “Blues” asserted their dominance early on, taking the lead in the 29th minute when Lazar Mijovic found the net.
No further goals were scored in the first half, although Arsenal posed threats through Abdulahi. Buducnost extended their lead in the 56th minute with a goal from Ivan Bulatović, and Nedeljko Piščević made it 3:0 by redirecting Andrija Bulatović’s shot into the goal.
Andrej Kostić continued to shine until the final whistle, scoring a goal and assisting Ilija Serikov for the closing score of 5:0.
With six rounds left in the season, Ivan Brnović’s team holds a 17-point advantage over Petrovac, meaning a single point in the upcoming round will secure the title.
Petrovac succeeded with a 1-0 home victory over Sutjeska, breaking a five-match winless run across all competitions. Meanwhile, Nikšić faced its second consecutive defeat.
The match at the “Mitar-Mićo Goliš” stadium was sealed by Savo Arambašić in the 83rd minute after a scramble in the penalty area that allowed him to shoot, checking Giljen.
Petrovac has faced Nikšić four times this season, and after today’s match, boasts a 15-point advantage over Milija Savović’s squad. Sutjeska has struggled to score against Petrovac, failing to find the net in 360 minutes of play this season.
Dečić AdmiralBet also secured a win, edging Bokelj SBBet in Tuzi with a score of 1:0.
This marked Dečić’s first win since March 24, when they achieved victory over Bokelj away. Since then, Nenad Brnović’s side had gone four matches without a win in the 1st CFL.
Brnović’s team looked impressive today, scoring in the 84th minute through substitute Matija Božanović, following a cross from Draško Božanović.
Jedinstvo-Franca clinched an important victory, defeating Mornar in Bijelo Polje 3:0. After this match, Bijelo Polje finds itself three points behind today’s rival and Bokelj, and six points behind Dečić and Sutjeska.
Jedinstvo showcased a solid performance, opening the scoring in the 44th minute with a goal from Žarko Korac, assisted by Obradović.
In the 51st minute, Bošnjak netted a beautiful goal to make it 2:0 after a well-placed ball from the right side, with Korać capping the final score at 3:0 in the 65th minute.
In Berane, Jezero and Otrant-Olimpik played to a thrilling 2:2 draw in a relegation battle.
The visitors initially went up by two goals, with Mateo Panadić and Halil Muharemović scoring. However, Jezero managed to equalize late in the match with goals from Mihailo Perović and Milivoje Raičević.
