The trial of Adis Muratović from Rožaje, charged with the murder of fellow citizen Anes Kalač, was postponed today at the Higher Court in Bijelo Polje due to the official absence of judge Ivan Adamović.
Kalač was injured in 2014 at the “Eko Petrol” gas station and succumbed to his injuries three days later.
Muratović was previously sentenced to 20 years, but that verdict was overturned by the Court of Appeal.
Anes, Elmin, Jasmin, and Mirsad Muratović each received a sentence of one year and eight months for aiding in this criminal act, while Elvis Muratović was sentenced to five months.
According to the indictment, on July 27, 2014, following a physical confrontation, the Muratović family attempted to kill several fellow citizens including Anes Kalač, Armin Kalač, Kemal Nurković, Elvis Jahović, and Šaban Tarhaniš.
