The Montenegrin national basketball team is set to begin its journey in the upcoming European Championship with a match against Germany.
Our team will compete in Group B in Tampere, facing not only Germany, but also hosts Finland, along with Lithuania, Sweden, and Great Britain.
The game against Germany will take place on August 27th, followed by a matchup with Lithuania two days later. Notably, NBA player Domantas Sabonis from Lithuania will be absent from the championship.
In the third round, on August 30th, Boško Radović’s team is scheduled to face Finland, with the match against Sweden following on September 1st.
Montenegro will wrap up the group stage on September 3rd against Great Britain.
The complete schedule has yet to be revealed.
The top four teams from the group will advance to the round of 16.
Eurobasket is set to occur from August 27 to September 14.
