The Prosecutorial Council, under the leadership of Supreme State Prosecutor Milorad Marković, reviewed and approved the Rules for Evaluating State Prosecutors and Heads of State Prosecutor’s Offices.
These newly established rules outline the evaluation processes and criteria for creating reports and recommendations concerning the performance of state prosecutors and their respective offices.
Tanja Božović has been appointed as a state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, following her interview during the session, which was part of the process for a permanent position open to applicants.
The session also addressed various complaints regarding the performance of state prosecutors and heads of state prosecutors’ offices, focusing on the legality of their administrative actions. The Prosecutorial Council determined that out of the complaints received, 20 were found to be unfounded, one was substantiated, and three did not qualify as complaints regarding the legality of the work of the state prosecutor or head of the state prosecutor’s office.
