Following a standout return to handball during the European Championship in Germany, Vuko Borozan is now gearing up for new challenges in a nation that has recently made waves in football…
The Montenegrin handball star has joined Al-Hada, a Saudi Arabian club, where he will compete for the upcoming season.
“I’m thrilled to be here; I look forward to seeing you all on the field,” Borozan expressed shortly after arriving at the airport.
Once hailed as one of the world’s top defenders, he returned to Lovćen this summer as a key signing. However, after a disagreement with coach Pera Milošević, he mutually agreed to terminate his contract.
Throughout his career, Borozan has played in Germany (Libeke), North Macedonia (where he became a European champion with Vardar), Hungary (Veszprém), Croatia, and Qatar…
Al-Hada, located on the island of Tarut in the Persian Gulf, is currently leading the Saudi championship this season, boasting a perfect record with six consecutive wins.
