Ibrahimović Holds Meeting with Andorra’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimović visited the Principality of Andorra to participate in the Leaders’ Meeting as part of the Games of the Small States of Europe.
Besides attending the summit of heads of state and government, Minister Ibrahimović also held bilateral meetings with the Prime Minister of Andorra, Xavier Espot Zamora, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Imma Tor Faus.
During the discussion with Prime Minister Espot Zamora, both parties reaffirmed the amicable bilateral relations between Montenegro and Andorra, based on shared values and mutual respect. They delved into potential avenues for enhancing cooperation in various sectors of common interest, such as sports, tourism, culture, and sustainable development. The importance of deepening political dialogue and engagement at both high and expert levels was also highlighted.
In his talks with Foreign Minister Tor Faus, they exchanged views on contemporary international issues, paying particular attention to the challenges encountered by small European states. Both sides expressed their commitment to continuing cooperation within regional and global initiatives, reaffirming their strong dedication to the principles of multilateralism.
Ibrahimović conveyed his gratitude for the warm hospitality of the hosts and underscored Montenegro’s appreciation for Andorra’s proactive role among Europe’s small states—as a dependable partner in fostering regional security, cooperation, and dialogue.
