Two Cars Set Ablaze in Podgorica; No Injuries Reported
In Podgorica, two vehicles were engulfed in flames due to an explosion, causing significant damage. Zdravko Blečić, the commander of the Protection and Rescue Service, informed “Vijesti” about the incident.
He mentioned that they successfully prevented a third vehicle from igniting.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.
The police department suspects that one of the vehicles caught fire spontaneously, which led to the fire spreading to the other two cars.
Citizens alerted the police about a burning car on Vasa Raičkovića Street.
“The incident resulted in extensive material damage to a Chevrolet with Podgorica license plates, as well as to a Renault Megan with Podgorica license plates. Additionally, a Citroen with Nikšić plates sustained minor damage. Currently, it is believed that the Chevrolet vehicle spontaneously ignited, causing the fire to extend to the other two cars.
