Detention for up to 72 Hours of Individuals Suspected of Human Smuggling

The Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica has ordered the detention of AC for a maximum of 72 hours due to suspicions of committing the criminal offenses of illegal border crossing and human smuggling.

The announcement from the Podgorica State Prosecutor’s Office revealed that the suspect attempted to approach the Ilino Brdo border crossing using Azerbaijani passports, intending for border crossings to be logged in those passports so that a record could allow their stay in Montenegro.
