Prime Minister Milojko Spajić has been appointed as a member of the Young Global Leaders Forum, which serves as an independent foundation and leadership platform associated with the World Economic Forum in Davos.
“I am privileged to have been chosen for the Young Global Leaders Forum, a distinguished three-year program and network of political, business, sports, artistic, and other figures who, motivated by a sense of purpose, promote public-private partnerships for the greater good,” Spajić remarked.
The Prime Minister’s Office noted that previous members include notable figures such as Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Ma, Sanna Marin, Emmanuel Macron, Prince Fumihito of Japan, Elon Musk, David Cameron, and Leonardo DiCaprio, among others.
As explained, the Young Global Leaders Community comprises leaders from over 120 nations spanning various sectors, including business, government, civil society, media, and the arts.
“Every year, thousands of candidates are nominated, but only slightly more than 100 are selected through a rigorous vetting process. The Young Global Leaders Forum promotes forward-thinking leadership that plays a role in shaping the global agenda through collaboration and dialogue in fields like artificial intelligence, health, geopolitics, sustainability, manufacturing, and urban transformation,” the statement elaborated.
